Highlights from the report included a 70 percent visitor occupancy rate, along with an increase of revenue totals compared to the same month in 2015. The Average Daily Rate (ADR) of the rentals came out to $211, which was up by 12 percent from September of last year.
Based on September’s performance, the forecast predicts a 70 percent occupancy in October as well. This figure takes a number of factors into account, such as airfare, discounting, and even travel plans around the time of the election. So far, airfare is looking reasonable, and the election doesn’t seem to be influencing travel related reservations one way or another.
