We at Whalers Realty are proud to announce that despite having fewer agents than some of the larger Hawaii Real Estate Firms, we have ranked 12th in the state and 2nd on Maui for residential Real Estate transaction dollar volume in 2010! This rank was published by Pacific Business News in their annual Top Residential Real Estate Firms of Hawaii list, based on gross residential sales volume.
We work hard to achieve this level of success, which also validates one of our core principles. That is that where realtors are concerned, quality is more important than quantity.
In 2009, we ranked 19th, and a jump to 12th the following year is exciting. Our 147 transactions in 2010 totaled $115,942,284, and with only 23 active agents. The average number of agents per firm in the top 20 list was 99. In fact, two of the firms on that list had 366 and 275 agents.
A recent article in the Lahaina News aptly pointed out, “These statistics demonstrate what a buyer or seller in the real estate market can come to expect when dealing with Whalers Realty: the quality, expertise and ability to produce results of a large nationally branded company, yet with the care, intimacy and attention of a local family–run business.”
On the Pacific Business News list of top single Residential Real Estate Transactions for the State of Hawaii, our very own Bob Cartwright earned the 27th spot with a $5,391,250 transaction on a unit in the Honua Kai resort in Kaanapali.
