If you prefer West Maui as a location for your residence, we’re not surprised. The tranquil ocean, powdery beaches, brilliant sunsets, majestic views of the West Maui Mountains, and the comfortably cool trades that compliment the warm sun are just a few of the natural features that make this part of the island a wonderful place to live.

West Maui boasts a myriad of fun boutiques, shops, art galleries family restaurants, fine restaurants, necessities and more. The picturesque Lahaina Harbor gets a good amount of use from sailboats, including whale watching, swimming, snorkeling, scuba and sight-seeing charters.

It’s a breathtaking place with plenty of things to do, and right now, finding reasonably priced real estate is like shooting fish in a barrel. We’d like to draw your attention to the lovely Puamana, located near the heart of Lahaina right on the beach.

Puamana originally consisted of a colony of pleasant homes on what was once part of a Maui sugar plantation, so there is a great deal of history and culture there. Now Puamana consists of low rise, low-density town homes on twenty-eight acres of manicured lawns and tropical gardens right on the Pacific Ocean.

The Puamana clubhouse was built in the 1920s and was the manager’s home during the plantation days. Now it is an important center of activity within the Puamana community. You will also find a library, a card room, a sauna, three swimming pools, tennis courts and there are lovely fountains and elegant archways outside. You will also find championship golf courses nearby.

Browse the many incredible Puamana condo listings on our website to learn more about the individual units. For a general gauge on the layouts, see the Puamana floor plans.

If you would like to get to know the area before buying, consider staying at one of our Puamana condo rentals on our Maui vacation accommodations web site.
